How To Create a Killer Story Concept

Ninety nine percent of scripts are unproduceable. Their concepts are too shallow or cliched. A killer story concept is the main key for a creative to unlock entry to the great story game.

Is your story concept original, layered, and compelling?

Here are 6 tips to help you HOW TO achieve that:

Actionable Creative Solution

Ask yourself these six questions to help you create a compelling and marketable story premise:

1) Does my concept have enough layers to drive a two-hour movie?

2) What is the universal and important theme my story dramatizes?

3) What is the new angle or twist in my story hook?

4) What traits and arc do my protagonist have that will make an audience empathize?

5) What is the big character goal and problem audiences will greatly care about?

6) What is the gripping suspense question of my story?

If your story concept can’t answer these six questions in a kapow way, you need to do more thinking. Much more! Okay or good is never good enough for a storied career.

To open doors and earn a seat at the big story table, your script concept must be WTF! As assessed by a story pro.

If you want support to develop your story concept to make it more seductive to producers, talents, and directors reply CONCEPT.
